Here are my thoughts about a few digital safety and security websites.
http://www.freetech4teachers.com/2014/08/five-good-resources-for-teaching.html - Digital Passport is amongst the 5 good sources. It speaks to cyberbullying, responsible cell phone use, copyrighting, etc. It is organized similar to TOOL in that students pursue quests and earn badges upon completion. (These sources are most appropriate for elementary-aged students.)
http://www.staysafeonline.org/teach-online-safety/middle-and-high-school/ (This addresses the needs of middle and high school students.)
https://www.teachingchannel.org/videos/teaching-about-digital-footprints (digital footprint video for elementary students done in conjunction with the Teaching Channel)
http://vimeo.com/6709512 (digital footprint video for middle & high students done in conjunction with the non-profit Common Sense Media)
Paragraph Summary: The “Participate Module” did a good job of allowing the user to take a nibble of the self-paced training session without choking. Upon skimming the course, the drill down precision can be intimidating and rather daunting! This phase gave lots of suggestions (i.e. a variety of websites for blog types) but was rather open-ended in allowing participants to be creative in demonstrating their “mastery” of each quest. Naturally, parameters were established but flexibility/personalization was key.
